To stay relevant in today’s mobile market, Hallmark has put a twist on their standard greeting card. Now, you might find a QR code inside one of their greeting cards to help enhance the user experience. Mobile Marketer said Hallmark rolled out a line of Halloween-themed greeting cards with QR codes inside of them just this past October.
They did this to “add a second layer of engagement for children,” the article went on to say. More and more companies are using mobile technology as a way to experiment with what engages their consumers and helps them expand their target audience.
Hallmark has also delved into the world of mobile apps for consumers on the go. Recently, they created a mobile app for iPhone and iPad devices that allows consumers to browse their collection of Christmas ornaments, create wish lists, and locate the Hallmark nearest them.
